On my previous trip to Disneyland Paris back in October I was lucky enough to be able to experience the Princess lunchtime dining experience at Auberge de Cendrillon with my eldest daughter. When we booked to go again for the Princess Vs Pirates festival I was completely sold at the idea of breakfast with the princesses and I am so pleased we had the chance to try this magical experience.
Auberge de Cendrillon or “Cinderella’s Inn” is the home to this incredible dining experience, situated behind Sleeping Beauty’s Castle within the dreamy and magical Fantasy Land at Disneyland Paris. This restaurant is everything you could possibly want from a dining experience, from the minute you walk through the doors until the minute you leave you are truly made to feel as if you yourself are royalty. I just love the costumes that the restaurant waiting staff wear, they really set the scene for the experience, with the men looking like footmen from Cinderella’s Pumpkin carriage and the women in long full skirts, it really does add to the ambience and stunning décor of this restaurant along with the stone archways and authentic tapestry’s on the walls.
Pastries, Croissants and Chocolate Oh my!
Upon being seated we were offered fresh Orange and Apple juice along with tea, coffee and hot chocolate. The table itself is dressed with a 3 tier cake stand holding a selection of breads, croissants, pain au chocolates and all the fruit preserves you could imagine. While we troffed into the pastries we were brought a hot breakfast which comprised of sausages, scrambled egg, sautéed potatoes and asparagus and the best part…A MICKEY SHAPPED WAFFLE!!! I cannot explain how excited I was with my waffle!! but wait…theres more…5 shot glass sized miniature samples of decadence,
- Smoked salmon
- Fruit salad
- Homemade muesli
- Crispy vegetables
What a feast we had although I did feel it was a waste of food giving children the same size amount of food as adults, but don’t worry there was no waste on our table!!
Picture perfect Princesses
This is what we came for…the chance to spend time with some princesses and not have the nightmare of the Princess Pavilion ques. You will not be disappointed I promise. At our breakfast time of 9.45 we had Snow white, Cinderella and Aurora to grace our table. I’m not going to lie I was hoping and praying for my girl Rapunzel but I guess she was pre occupied with Eugene.
The princesses make such a fuss with all the guests on each table and take time to sign autographs, have a chat and have pictures taken. What I loved about the breakfast compared to the lunch is even though we didnt meet as many princesses at breakfast they didnt seem anywhere near as rushed as the lunch time princesses.
Money grows on trees right??
Ok so lets see how much this incredible experience is going to set you back…The adult price(euros) is 49.00 and the child price is 39.00. I also have an infinity annual pass and therefore received a 20% discount from the bill which made a huge saving. Is it worth the money?? YES 100%.
